USS Columbia: Exploring past the charted space the USS Columbia has been past the designated Klingon space exploring and establishing colonies. In the current mission. The Columbia came to the aid of a shuttle craft sized vehicle that was under attack by a handful of cruiser class vessels.

Dissuading the attacking ships and retrieving the small craft, a dimensional rift was discovered on or in the craft. An Away Team entered and has discovered the mass displacement of where they are is 5,000 tonnes. Length and width readings have not come back. A fantastically large library was on the other side.

A humanoid female was discovered running down a corridor. Catching up and following. The Away Team has entered onto a lake surrounded by a forest. She promptly entered the lake and caught a fish for some reason. The Away Team and Female have settled on the shore to talk.

USS Darmok: The Darmok is now deep in the Gamma Quadrant, very, very far from the Federation. We have passed beyond what was once Dominion space and are rapidly approaching the Aslan Heirate. The Aslans are insectoid allies of the Federation, resembling giant erect cockroaches, who honor former Captain and now Ambassador Adam Android as their Revered Hero for returning a long lost religious artifact many years ago.

The Darmok has had a brief run-in with Zhenkarian Corsaires, nasty pirates that prowl the fringes of Dominion and Aslan territories, after having pushed our engines to the brink of failure to make it this far this fast. But we've made our repairs and rendezvoused with Ambassador Android and his old Romulan shuttle from the Reciprocitydays, the ISS Asimov. The Ambassador is accompanied by a representative of the Aslan fleet, Commodore Bzzklacktick, and the last two remaining members of the Scaled Guard, the animatronic Raptors who swore allegiance to their Alpha, Adam Android, nearly 20 years ago.

One of the Corsaires we encountered was flying at high warp and as we met it, it suffered a warp core breach. Upon scanning the debris we picked up clear indication of Kyrathian Plant Spores, a highly corrosive - and extremely deadly - contaminant. The remains of the Corsaire also exhibited signs of having been ripped open from the outside, a sure indicator that Kyrathian Soldiers and Gatherers had boarded the vessel. Not wishing to risk infestation of our own ship, Lt. Col. Patterson launched a volley of high-yield photon torpedoes with a wide spread pattern to destroy all the remaining fragments of the Corsaire, and the Darmok pressed on to reach the Aslan Heirate.

USS Excelsior: Well, it’s been a crazy month, but that’s not unusual aboard this ship. Lt. McMillian had his romantic trip with his wife-to-be cut short when his kid, Malino, was arrested and accused of the death of another cadet at Starfleet Academy. Counselor N’Tazzia traveled to Earth as Malino is also her adopted son. They did find out what really happened and Malino was cleared. Lt. Gar got an ominous warning about somethin’ big going’ ta happen from Mav (which we’re still waitin’ ta have happen). We rescued some more of the missing crew of Starbase 295 and we had a Halloween party.  Whatta month.

USS Independence: The year is 2344, the ship is the Ambassador-class, U.S.S. Independence. Key members of the senior staff and other crewmembers are actually crewmembers from 2395, but they are occupying the bodies of the officers from that era on that ship (thank you Q).

An away team is sent over to the powerless Klingon BoPs. They start to scan the ship and find many unusual things including technology that is definitely not Klingon. Eventually, Lt. Commander Harris recognizes them as a newer version of the Romulan drone ships encountered by the NX-Enterprise. Just as this recognition is made, the BoPs poer up and take off for the Klingon border at maximum warp. The Independence pursues, as do the two Klingon battle cruisers, which now threaten to take out the BoPs if they cross the border.

Outpost Phoenix: While exploring the area of no-cochrane space known as the Maskawk, the Outpost Phoenix survey team aboard USS Lexington encountered the brief IFF beacon of a Starfleet vessel. Upon investigation, it was discovered to be the derelict remains of the first USS Lothlorien (NCC-514251), a Springfield-class refit that declared Lost 21 years ago. The ship is heavily damaged, and the crew of OPX is trying to restore partial power to her. 

The crew encountered the ship’s Virtual Emotive Responsive Operations and Navigation, Interface Computational Algorithm: VERONICA, which apparently obtained sapience in the three decades of its isolation. The crew is currently towing Lothlorien back to the Einstein-Rosen Bridge Device where she will serve as a Forward Base for exploring the Maskawk.

OPX also became the first USF sim to play on Discord. Discord simming on OPX will began on the Outpost Phoenix server (https://discord.gg/5jcEM8T) in channel ‘Synchronous Orbit’ on 201810.14.

Starbase Everest: After a typical Halloween celebration, a New Orleans-class ship suddenly appears on sensors.  It is shown to be drifting toward the starbase. Hails go unanswered and Fleet Captain Darz orders an away team to check it out. Commander Styles leads the team to find the ship’s crew seemingly frozen in time. Approximately twenty minutes into the mission, the crew starts moving as if nothing happened.  Styles, however loses all contact with the starbase, and Everest loses the lock on their away team. The crew of the ship believe they are still in the year 2362.

Starfleet Academy: The cadets are involved in a holo-simulation that places them aboard the Sabre-class, U.S.S. Severine. Their mission is to travel to a planet where possible artifacts from the Earth-Romulan War has been found. They are to scout the possible excavation site and get things set up for the excavation teams. Upon entering orbit of the planet, they scan the surface and find a ship buried deep beneath the ground. A Romulan ship.
