E-Board Meeting Notes

This month's E-Board Meeting Notes are sent to us by USF Fleet Commander, Vice Admiral Wyatt Bacon.  Thank you, Admiral, for taking the time to keep us abreast as to what the E-Board is up to!

September 2018 E-Board Meeting Notes

1. Commander Suavek has been authorized to serve as provisional Executive Officer of USS Aldrin for six months. In six months, he will be made official Executive Officer pending review by the E-Board.

2. Vice Admiral Anders has been relieved of his position as Temporary Fleet Commander. The Admiral remains as Webmaster, retains his rank of Vice Admiral, acquires the status of "past member of the Executive Board" and is considered a "non-voting adviser" to the Executive Board. He will have access to the AHA meetings. He may join in discussions in the AHA meetings but does not have a vote.
        *Special Note from the PADD Staff: Thank you to Vice Admiral Anders for stepping up during this time of transition to serve as our temporary Fleet Commander.  Your service during this time of transition has been appreciated by us all.

3. A general agreement was reached that all current Staff Members would be grandfathered in and remain at their posts.

4. A request for Hosts to work on the revised Sim Guide was made. The E-Board is presently collecting the names of Host Volunteers to work on the Sim Guide Revision Committee.

5. Outpost Phoenix has received a Provisional Allowance to extend a Trial Experiment to begin simming on Discord rather than the Mibbit IRC rooms until further notice.

6. The issue of Starfleet Marine ranks was put forward, as well as Major Patterson’s status as Provisional Executive Office. There was a general acceptance of Starfleet Marine ranks, but no resolution. Major Patterson was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel and has been approved as Executive Officer of USS Darmok.
